One year of Uddhav: The good side of dynasty

The Uddhav Thackeray led government has completed one year in office on 28th November 2020

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray is the son of Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray.

It is a common perception that dynasty is not good in politics. The reason is that the son just inherits the father's position without being tested for it. A non-dynast would have to really work hard and struggle a lot to secure a position, whereas her/his daughter/son will just get the post automatically and may not inherit the 'hardworkingness.'

However, there is also a feeling that many and politicians are very violent and very scheming. If dynasts do not inherit a hardworking personality from their father/mother, isn't it possible that they do not inherit the bad elements as well?

Uddhav Thackeray is a dynast. One may find certain 'bad elements' Uddhav Thackeray has not 'inherited.' Read on to know what has happened over the past one year.
